Guinness World Record Set by Wincor Nixdorf

Dualtron’s newest partner Wincor Nixdorf recently took part in a challenge to set a Guinness World Record for the fastest time to scan 50 barcoded items through a till. The Wincor Nixdorf Beetle MII Plus was the chosen POS system, running TP.Net POS software. The challenge was organised by GS1 as a celebration of the barcode’s 40th anniversary.

Dualtron’s Managing Director Dave Byrne said “This achievement is testament to the speed and reliability of Wincor’s POS equipment and software, we are delighted to be able to offer these performance levels to Irish retailers“.
